Alex Ronald Varga, 78, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026.
Born on September 25, 1947, in Rahway, New Jersey, Alex was the beloved son of the late Alex Varga, Sr. and Veronica Lambert. He carried with him a deep sense of duty, honor, and resilience throughout his life.
Alex proudly served his country as a veteran of the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1969. In recognition of his bravery and dedication, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, and one Overseas Service Bar. His service remains a lasting testament to his courage and commitment.
He was a devoted and caring uncle to Liza Torres-Stephens, who will cherish his memory along with all who had the privilege of knowing him. Alex will be remembered for his quiet strength, loyalty, and the pride he took in both his family and his service to his country.
Relatives and friends are invited to honor his life and legacy at a time to be announced.
