It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alexander Ray Bencomo on February 4, 2025, in Overgaard, Arizona. Born on December 6, 2005, in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Alex was a bright spirit with a large, blended family full of love and warmth, He was the beloved son of Allan Bencomo and Jessi Crawford and cherished stepson of Erica Stephens.

Alex was a creative soul with a passion for music that spanned genres from Tupac to Nirvana, and the Blues. He often shared his love of music with those around him. His playful spirit shone through in his adventures, including a memorable incident during home economics that nearly turned into a culinary disaster, as he enthusiastically participated in class.

Known for his healthy appetite, Alex would often linger in the kitchen, enchanted by the aromas made by his stepmother. His love for the outdoors was evident in the peaceful moments he spent fishing with his father and siblings, finding solace in nature when life felt tumultuous.

Alex's beautiful long, thick hair became a signature part of who he was. His friends and family will always cherish the memories of his light-heartedness, love, and the laughter he brought into their lives.

Survivors include his parents, Allan Bencomo and Jessi Crawford; stepmom, Erica Stephens; siblings, Kristopher Bencomo, Kendra Stephens, Breea Crawford, Landon Stephens, Tashi Gilbert, Rory Crawford, Anabelle Bencomo, Mya Stephens, Evalyn Bencomo, and Thomas "Orion" Bencomo.
