Alexander Arturo Cota Medina

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander Arturo Cota Medina, who left us far too soon on June 21, 2025, at the tender age of 14. Born on January 14, 2011, Alexander was a bright and spirited young soul whose presence brought joy and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Alexander excelled in academics, proudly standing as an honor student, showcasing his dedication and brilliance. Beyond the classroom, he found immense joy in sports, especially soccer and basketball, where his enthusiasm and teamwork shone brightly. Whether on the field or court, he thrived in the midst of the action, always eager to contribute to his team and uplift those around him.
Known for his goofiness and quick-to-smile demeanor, Alexander had a unique gift for making others laugh. His infectious spirit was a beacon of light, drawing people towards him and creating an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie. He cherished spending time with family and friends, often at the heart of gatherings, spreading happiness with his thoughtful and kind nature.
Alexander had a remarkable ability to put others first, always considerate and caring in his interactions. He touched many lives with his compassion, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
He is survived by his loving parents, Cecilio Cota Urtusuastegui and Cynthia Medina, and his beloved sister Ainsley Cota. Their hearts, though heavy with grief, are filled with gratitude for the time shared and memories created with Alexander.
Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Alexander are invited to celebrate his life at Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service in the chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Though Alexander's time with us was brief, his spirit and love will continue to inspire and guide us. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
