Alexander Kowalchuk Obituary

Born in Newark, Alexander lived in West Paterson and Paterson for most of his life before moving to Haledon. He was a wave solder operator for BAE Systems, enjoyed watching football, playing guitar, and betting on the horse races at the racetrack.
Alexander was the beloved husband of Linda (nee: Winans) Kowalchuk. Loving father of Alex Kowalchuk and his wife Lorraine of North Haledon, Mike Kowalchuk and his wife Margaret of Hardyston, John Kowalchuk and his wife Debbie of Sparta, Brian Kowalchuk, George Morgan and his wife Barbara of Hanover, PA, Brian Morgan and his wife Jennifer of Hawthorne, Donna Morgan of Hawthorne, Milissa Morgan and her husband Richard of Hawthorne and Jennifer Craig and her husband Mike of Hanover, PA. Beloved grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dearest brother of Irene Heese and Fred Kowalchuk. He was pre-deceased by his first wife Alice, mother of Alex, Mike, John and Brian, and his siblings Frances, Carl, Laura and Mary.
Funeral service at 10:30am on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Interment will follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa, NJ. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7pm.
