Alexander Frank Marchetti Jr., 48, of Arlington Hts.; loving husband Tracy (nee Tarasievich); loved father to Emma, Alex and Emelia "Mia" Marchetti; cherished son to Al (Jeanne) Marchetti, Sr., son in law to Larry (Linda) Trzaskus and Mike (Marilyn) Tarasievich; beloved brother in law to Eric (Renee) Tarasievich, Tracy (Jeff) Crivlare and other step in laws; dear cousin to Diana (Tom) Hayes and Andrea (Jimmy) Capasso; fond godson to Donna Kazmierski; and beloved godfather to Tommy Hayes and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends. Alexander worked as a certified public accountant in Investor Relations for Brunswick since 2007. He received his bachelor's degree from Notre Dame University and was a life-long "Fighting Irish" fan and AHYAA Coach. Visitation Tuesday, October 12, 2021, from 2 pm until 8 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd)., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Visitation 9 am, Wednesday, October 13, 202, at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL until the 10 am Funeral Mass. Entombment at All Saints in Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Jack and Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation at https://www.jajf.org or Harley's Helping Hands at https://www.harleyhelpinghands.org. Alex was a friend growing up across the street from me in the old RF neighborhood. I am shocked and very sorry to hear of his passing. My sincerest thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
