Alexander Osenenko, Jr, a native of Bayonne, NJ and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Monday October 6, 2025 with his devoted sons Todd and Rodd at his side. He was 85 years old.
Alexander was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Pamela, who passed in 2018. He was also preceded in death by his beloved son Scott, who passed in 2011. He was preceded in death by his brother John.
He is survived by his oldest son Todd (Randy) and his youngest son Rodd, who was his loving caretaker in his final months. Alexander is survived by his grandchildren Kyle and Olivia, and his great-granddaughter Lydia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Alexander served in the US Air Force as a crew chief stationed in Woodbridge, England, where he met his future wife Pam.
After he completed his service (1959-1964), Alexander had a 40+ year career at Ciba-Geigy working at the Toms River, NJ plant before transferring to the plant in Louisiana. He retired in 2005. He enjoyed his retirement, spending his time caring for family and fishing in Minnesota.
Al was a beloved family member and a friend to all who met him. He will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a veterans charity of your choice or St Jude’s children’s hospital.
A memorial service for family and friends is planned for a future date.
