Alexander F. "Alex" Russo

Alexander F. "Alex" Russo, 28, of West Haven passed away on December 6, 2025 surrounded by his family at Bridgeport Hospital. Alex was born in Milford on August 25, 1997 son of Linda Dale Adams of West Haven and Ronald R. Russo of Old Saybrook. Stepson of Thomas Adams of West Haven. Beloved brother of Renee (Dan Liguori) Russo of North Branford, Adrienne (Seth Garbarsky) Russo of Guilford and Jade Adams of Shelton. Grandson of Vena Dale and the late Matthew Dale. Step-grandson of John Roebuck of Ft. Myers, FL. Uncle of Lorenzo Liguori. Loving companion of Parker Callahan of Milford who was the love of his life. She gave him unwavering care and support and never left his side as he battled cancer for the second time. Linda is extremely grateful for the love Parker gave him and will treasure the time they spent together caring for him. Alex was an avid skateboarder and had many cherished friends from the skate community, also, the vintage clothing community. He loved to travel. Alex went to Africa on a safari and traveled to England, Germany, California, and many Caribbean islands. He loved the outdoors. Alex is also survived by many maternal and paternal aunts and uncles to whom he was extremely close; Julie and Glenn Zullo, Christopher and Jacky Dale, Lynne and Peter Kroesser, Christopher and Jillian Russo and Beth Dale. He was particularly close to his Godparents, Julie Zullo and Christopher Dale. Cousin of Dan and Erin Zullo; Bill and Christina Zullo; Jack Zullo and Morgan Gorman; Shannon and Willy Marrero; Matthew Dale and Tiffany Chanla; Justin and Anna Kroesser; Emma Kroesser; Jack and Lauren Russo; and Quincy, Cole and Corbin Pecora. Also, the littles of the family; Henry, June, Gianna and Marissa. He had an extremely special friend in Oliver Buss from Germany; he was his bone marrow donor back in 2011. Oliver gave him the gift of life and the opportunity of an additional 12 years of good health. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life on FRIDAY evening, December 12, 2025, in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 830 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
