Leonard Andrew Russo

Leonard (Len) Andrew Russo Jr., 87 of Port Orange, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025 after a long illness. Born on October 4, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA, Len was one of three children born to Eleanor Frances (nee Archibald) and Leonard Andrew Russo Sr.
Len lived most of his life in the Philadelphia area and worked as a mechanical designer for GE Aerospace and Lockheed Martin, retiring in 2012. Len was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and Flyers. He was also a skilled 10 pin bowler and bowled in many leagues over the years. After moving to Florida in 2012 he embraced the Florida sports teams of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Rays.
Len was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed playing practical jokes on friends and family, going on cruises and taking drives to our beautiful Florida beaches and along the coast.
He is now reunited with his brother Thomas Russo who predeceased him. Len is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Kathy; five daughters Dianne Nichol-Mariani, Lynda Mazzarelli-Boesz (Rich), Gail Ames (Ted), Toni Ann Russo, Joyce Marie Bates (Jeff), and stepdaughter Kimberly Lynn Crook; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister Elizabeth Formentos of Collingdale, PA.
