Alexanderia Desiree Walton, affectionately known as “Alex” was born on July 4, 1996, and took her last breath on March 16, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio.
Alex was educated through the Columbus Public School system and graduated from Eastmoor Academy High School. She furthered her education at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, studying International Business. Alex’s artistry and creativity shifted her focus to beauty, as she attended and graduated from Mason Anthony School of Cosmetology, where she became a licensed nail technician in the State of Ohio. Alex’s pursuit of success, goals, and entrepreneurship continued as she later opened and operated Aqua Luxe Nail Spa through IMAGE Studios.
Alex loved traveling, eating good food, shopping, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She loved being a big sister to her little brother, Christian, and thought she was his mother because she could tell him what to do, and he would reluctantly listen. Making others smile, laugh, and feel important was Alex’s goal, along with a smile of approval from her mother. Alex was successful in reaching these goals beyond any heights imaginable.
Alexanderia committed her faith to the Lord at a young age and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Although she did not sing in any choir, her love for music and singing at the top of her lungs at any random moment brought laughter and joy to all who experienced her mini-concerts.
Alex will be remembered as a bright light who warmed the souls of everyone she encountered. Her smile and shine are forever etched in the minds and hearts of everyone who knew her, and her legacy will linger, as Alex will be known as a precious gift.
Alex is preceded in death by her grandparents, Valance Leroda Robinson and Robin Robinson, and her great-grandparents, Henderson and Julia Robinson.
Alexanderia’s spirit will forever live in the heart of her mother, Valarie Robinson, “earthly” father, affectionately known as “Rob”, Robert Walton; biological father Juan Walton, (no relation); brother, Christian Robinson; goddaughter Zuri Mayes; uncles Henderson Robinson, John (Kalya) Houston, Lorenzo (Sean) Colbert, Everett (Rahylan) Colbert; aunt Misti Mathews; great-aunts April Little, Victoria (Harold) Yarborough; and godmother Chereysse Walker. Additionally, Alex leaves behind her grandmother, Ejuan Walton; grandfather’s brother, Marshall (Kathy) Robinson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
