Alexandra "Sandy" Kokot, nee Inasowa, Age 99, passed away on January 21, 2025.
Beloved wife of the late Kazimierz Kokot. Companion of the late Michael Szuszkiewicz.
Loving mother of Chester (Elaine) Kokot, Donna Kokot, Gene (Kathy) Kokot and Irene Tomasovich. Dear grandmother of Tanya (James) Bruce, Karen Kokot, Natalya (Brian Mathews) Tomasovich, Mark (Stacy) Kokot, Nadine Tomasovich, Tracey (Anthony) Pantaliono, Michael Tomasovich, Gene Paul Kokot, Samantha (Ari) Morales and David DuCasse. Dearest great-grandmother to Sara Muszanski, Jake Tomasovich, Gene Paul Kokot, Joseph Tomasovich, Luke Kokot, Sophia Morales, Gavin Kokot, Brielle Kokot, Ari Morales. Also survived by relatives and friends.
Alexandra was born in Kiev, Ukraine. Along with her husband and family they moved to Belgium after being liberated from post war Germany. After a number of years they decided to immigrate to the UNITED STATES for better opportunities for their children. Alexandra was an avid cook and baker specializing in Polish cuisine. She was a volunteer member of the Polish Alliance and also a member of Local 25 SEIU Union. Visitation is Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 9 AM until time of Prayers at 11 AM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.(55th street just west of Harlem). We will go in procession from the funeral home to St. Daniel the Prophet Church for an 11:30 AM Mass. Alexandra " Sandy" will be entombed at Resurrection Cemetery, Our Lady of Czestochowa Garden Mausoleum.
