I'm following the path God has chosen for me.
I took His hand when I heard him call;
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I've now found peace at the end of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Oh yes, these things, I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
Look for the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much;
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seems all to brief;
Don't lengthen your pain with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and peace to thee,
God wanted me now-He set me free

Alexis and I worked together in Miami many, many years ago. I held her in high regard for her warmth, kindness, intellect and ability to share a good laugh at any moment. Alexis was such a wonderful soul. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

Another becoming an Angel. Knew her for many years as a mentor, friend and confidant. She was so energetic, professional, and of course a great individual. Hope the fond memories of her eases her family through this difficult time. Bless.

I was so sorry to hear of Alexis´ passing. Although I did not keep in touch with her, I have fond memories of working with Alexis in Miami. She was always a kind, considerate and knowledgeable coworker. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I know she´s going to be missed and I pray that her memories will help her family during this difficult time.
