With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Alexis Crystal Elizabeth Pelham, who left this world far too soon on January 30, 2025. She was born on December 4, 2007, in Nashville, Tennessee, and in her 17 years, she touched countless lives with her kindness, honesty, and unwavering love for those around her.
Alexis had the rarest of souls-one that was selfless, fearless, and full of life. She always put others first, offering her heart and her strength to anyone in need. There was never a moment when she wouldn't stand up for what she believed in or lend a hand to someone struggling. She had a passion for adventure, loving nothing more than mudding, riding through the woods, and making unforgettable memories with the people she cherished. Her love for children was unmatched, and she had a way of making every little one she met feel special and adored.
Alexis dreamed of becoming a massage therapist, a career that perfectly suited her giving nature. Helping others was her passion, and she was determined to bring comfort and healing to those in need.
She is survived by her loving mother, Carolyn Ehrcke; her brother, Kyle Ehrcke; her grandmother, Elizabeth Branson; and her aunt, Heather Ehrcke. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her family and countless friends, all of whom were blessed to have known her.
Alexis now joins the loving embrace of those who passed before her: her cherished Aunt Sherry Brown, her grandmother Joanne Leitner, and her grandfather David Leitner. We find peace in knowing they were waiting for her with open arms, welcoming her home as our most precious guardian angel.
Alexis was a light in the lives of everyone she met-an unbreakable spirit, a fierce protector, and a heart so pure it could never be replaced. She was taken from us far too soon, but the love she gave will live on forever in those who were lucky enough to know her.
She is free now, running through the woods she loved, laughing in the wind, and watching over us all.
