Alexus Vanessa Reed, 23, most recently residing at The Good Shepherd Home, Raker Center in Allentown, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Long Island, New York, Alexus was the beloved daughter of Taina V. (Ramirez) Reed and Cleary Reed.

Alexus lived a life that touched the hearts of many. Despite facing significant medical challenges throughout her life, including lissencephaly, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy, she demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience. Through every challenge, Alexus showed a quiet courage that inspired those who knew and cared for her.

She had a deep love for music and for being surrounded by her family, and her presence had a special way of bringing smiles, laughter, and warmth to those around her. Alexus's life was a testament to perseverance, love, and the power of a gentle spirit. Her strength and the joy she brought to others will never be forgotten.

Alexus will always be remembered as a beautiful soul who touched the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her loving parents, Taina V. (Ramirez) Reed and Cleary Reed; her three siblings, Dasia, Christiante, and Savannah; as well as extended family members and friends. The family also wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers and staff of The Good Shepherd Home, Raker Center, who cared for Alexus during the past two years of her life.
