Alfonso Saenz Obituary
Alfonso P. Saenz, age 93, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful son, brother, father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather and will be greatly missed. Alfonso is preceded in death by his parents; Juan Saenz Sr. and Elena Padilla Saenz; his loving wife; Cleofas Holguin Saenz; and his siblings; Maria Vasquez, Valentina Saenz, Mercedes Mireles, Benito Saenz and Arturo Saenz. He is survived by his children; Ruben Saenz (Carmen), Alfonso Saenz Jr., (Elizabeth), Ramon Saenz (Betty), Michael Saenz (Sonia), Oscar Saenz, Rachel Castillo (Alfonso), Marylou Hernandez (Fernie), Juanita Corona and Terry Saenz; his siblings; Crispin Saenz, Rodolfo Saenz, Roberto Saenz, Juan Saenz Jr., Maria Elena Vasquez and Guadalupe Martinez; his 22 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:30 pm, Wednesday, June 11, 2025 with a Rosary at 6:30 pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 131 S. Zaragoza Rd. El Paso, TX 79907. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, on Thursday, June 12, 2025 with a Graveside Service to follow at 11:15 am at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
