Bill was born in Akron, Ohio and ran a successful business, Akron Dispersions. But his love was golf. He was US Senior Amateur Champion 1991, Great Lakes Senior Champion 1991, Canadian Senior Amateur Champion 1992, 4th in British Senior Amateur 1992, Runner-Up in Mexican Senior Amateur 1993, Member of the Society of Seniors and the Ohio Golf Hall of Fame.
Bill is survived by wife Pat of Fort Myers, FL, his daughters Kelly (Randy) Daniels of Sandpoint, Idaho, Christy (Tom) Eddy of Sandpoint, Idaho and grandchildren Holly, Mac, Erin and Eoin.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Otto and John Thomas.
Memorial donations may be made to Canine Castaways, P. O. Box 3295, Arcadia, Fl 34265 or a charity of your choice.
