So sorry to learn of Gerald's death but it is great that he lived such a productive life and was able to go to the pool until last year. We thought so much of him and your family and will never forget you and Gerald's kindness to us while
Hugh was at McMaster. With Love,

Carolyn and family.
We send you our deepest condolences. We have very fond memories of being your neighbours for many years at 72 Sanatorium Rd. You and Gerald always treated our daughters as if they were your own grandchildren. They remember vividly the extra special halloween treat you gave them each year after they posed for a picture.
Our prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Aunt Carolyn, Paulette, Greg and Family,
I read of Uncle Gerald's passing with great sadness. To me, he will always be "the elder" of the Frontain family, and custodian of the earliest family memories, which he then passed to later generations. I also have fond memories of him discussing his various wartime experiences with the family while visiting Halifax. He will be missed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and those of my brother Danny and sister Donna.
Sincerely,
Kathy O'Brien

Dear Carolyn and family,
Paul and I are so saddened to read of my godfather, Gerald's passing. Each year, he and I exchanged Christmas cards and letters and I so looked forward to reading his news. Carolyn, a very special occasion in my life was being a flower girl at your wedding and I still cherish the gold locket you and Gerald gave me. Paul and I shall always remember our visit with the both of you a few years ago. As always, Gerald had maintained his warmth and great sense of humor.
May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Lorraine Frontain Fitzgerald

My fondest memory of my uncle occurred when we vacationed with him and his family in Nova Scotia in 1969. One evening, the men of the family gathered together and shared wartime and fishing stories. I then realized that my uncle was living a full and vibrant life with love for his family, friends and country. Rest in peace Uncle Gerald.
