He worked at Mercy Hospital in Ada, OK as a medical runner where he made lots of friends. He enjoyed beading, sewing, eating Mexican food, hanging out with friends and loved to make people laugh and smile. He was also in a bowling league.
He is preceded in death by his father, Franklin Harjo Sr.; brother, David Lee Harjo; grandparents, Eliza Cummings Harjo, George Harjo, Lillie Walter Harrison and Charlie Harrison Sr.
Alford is survived by his mother, Lizzie Harjo; siblings, Patricia Harjo, Franklin Harjo Jr, Christopher Harjo, Rhonda Harjo, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Friday, November 14, 2025 at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Sasawka, OK.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Sasakwa, OK with Pastor Eric Thlocco officiating. Interment to follow at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Sasakwa, OK.
Pallbearers: Wayne Browne, Tim Soto, Alex Tiger, Charlie Harjo, Trey Harjo, Chance Harjo.
Arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
