Alfred "Mick" M. Grentzer, age 87, of Medina, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at home unexpectantly, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on February 27, 1938, to the late Michael Alfred and Dorothy (Hinckley) Grentzer.

Alfred was retired from Fiat Allis North America as the Vice President of Sales, where he enjoyed selling heavy equipment. Alfred was a simple man; he enjoyed his free time and spending lots of time with his family especially his grandkids.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Randy Holbert.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Dolores Grentzer; three children, Karen (Tony) Kissel, Michael Grentzer, Mary (Michael) Zapior, all of Medina; Seven grandchildren, Samantha (Jared) Singleton, Anthony (Dina) Kissel, Mason, Landon, and Emerson Grentzer, Adelyn and Elliot Zapior, all of Medina; two great granddaughters, Peyton and Maya Singleton of Medina; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also surviving.

There will be no calling hours or services. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Care of Mr. Grentzer was entrusted to Carlson Funeral Home - Medina Chapel, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, Ohio 44256.
