Obituary of Alfred Montano
We regretfully announce the peaceful passing of Alfred Montano, on October 18, 2023 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, CO. Born on June 25, 1961, Alfred lived a life filled with love for his family, passion for his interests, and love for the people who surrounded him.
Alfred was lovingly predeceased by his grandmother, Trini, mother, Lydia Ramos, father, Alfonso Montano, and another father figure, Efrain Ramos, as well as his brother, Mike Montano and Sister Mary Franz. We find comfort knowing they are reunited in the next life.
Alfred will forever be remembered by his sisters Bernie Gardner, Toni Ramirez, Ramona Smith, Gloria Ramos and Alice Goldstein; and his brothers Richard Montano, Chris Montano, Efrain Jr Ramos, and Virgil Ramos and all their respected spouses and lastly his children. His departure leaves a void in their hearts that can only be filled by the countless memories they created together.
Alfred was a semi truck driver, both over the road and local, an occupation he took pride in. A man of excellent culinary abilities, he enjoyed cooking for his family and friends, he could whip anything up. Steak and potatoes, and Mexican food being amongst his favorites. His love for music was palpable, particularly for the tunes of Bob Seger. He was also a loyal supporter of the Denver Broncos, cheering them on at every opportunity.
A Celebration of Life for Alfred will be held on October 29, 2023, 12pm-4pm at Kimberly's Event Center & Party Rentals. Friends and family are invited to gather, share their memories, and honor a man who lived life to the fullest.
Alfred Montano will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His legacy will continue to live on in their hearts and in the many lives he touched throughout his journey.
