My sincere sympathy to the Riddick Family, in the loss of one of God's Men Of Valor. 'Big Al', as we affectionately called him, was truly a friend and colleague. I met Al during my first teaching assignment at Northwest Halifax High School, and as a green person in the field of trying to educate children, Al took me under his wings and he, along with other colleagues, mentored me when mentoring was not even a word. I will forever treasure the times we spent at Northwest and its community. Al became a friend when I really needed one.
Alice and Family, I pray God's richest blessings upon you during your time of bereavement and beyond. Hold on to God's unchanging hand and he will sustain you . Know that you are continually in my thoughts and prayers. I had the pleasure of reading Al Jr's book, and as a former English Teacher and School Administrator, it was an enjoyable masterpiece. Blessings to the entire Riddick Family.
Yours In Christ,
Raymond L. Privott
