Alfredo was born in Elsa, Texas. Raised in Reynosa, Tamaulipas to Jesus Cabrera and Rosa Caldera. He met and married Maria Cruz in 1972, on her Birthday, renewed their vowed in 2025 celebrating 53 years of love and companionship. His Siblings were Vica Cabrera, Maria de Jesus, Rafael Cabrera, Nato Cabrera, Raul Munoz, Bartolo Cabrera, Maria Tonia, Jose-Luis, Gloria Armijo, Jesus Cabrera and Elizabeth Cabrera.
His Children are Alfredo Jr., Jose, Alex, Jorge, Sergio and Marisa
11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren
Alfredo Came to Fennville around 1974 and made Holland his home shortly after. He worked for Chris Craft and then Tiara Yachts repairing molds. In his youth he loved riding horses and occasionally raced them with his friends.
He was a devoted Father, Husband, Brother and Uncle, often having his nieces and nephews living with him and visiting his Brothers often.
He was a proud member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, a deeply spiritual man, when he gave his life to the Lord he never took it back.
He passed in his home surrounded by Family Members and sent off with all the love that he cultivated.
A time of visitation for Alfredo will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with the service immediately following on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Holland Spanish SDA Church, 169 W. 16th St. Holland. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
