Joan E. "Mama Slash" Cabrera

Joan E. Cabrera, age 92, of Easton, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026. Her predeceased family was her parents, Frank and Alice Ridgway, her son, Robert "Bobby Slash" Corter, and her husband, Domingo Cabrera. She dedicated many years of service as a CNA before retiring to take care of her family.

She is survived by her niece, Marie of Wayne, NJ, Nephews James Ridgway and Robert Ridgway, along with her embraced espousal family; Carmen Ramirez, Annette DeJesus, Carmen Lisette Rodriguez, and Aleeza Polanco.

Joan "Mama Slash" will be remembered for her kindness and gentle heart. She was born and raised in Pompton Lakes, NJ and was a graduate of Pompton Lakes High School. She would say time will reveal who is who. There was never a gathering or event she missed and enjoyed. She loved Elvis Presley and listening to his music. She loved square dancing and rocking with her son Bobby Slash during his band events. If you got to be loved by her you sure were lucky.
