Alfredo González Hernández, amado esposo, padre, abuelo bisabuelo, hermano y amigo falleció rodeado de su amada familia el día 13 de junio 2023 en la ciudad de Murray, Utah. Alfredo nació en San Ignacio Cerro Gordo Jalisco México.
Alfredo amo lo que hizo por tantos años como comerciante, fue muy conocido por su trabajo arduo y dedicación a su oficio. Aunque no fue a la escuela por mucho tiempo, fue una persona muy inteligente que siempre conseguía la manera de alcanzar sus metas. Su ética de trabajo y compromiso con el bienestar de otros hizo que se ganara un espacio en el corazón de los que lo conocieron.
Alfredo siempre le encantaba tomarse una taza de café caliente cada mañana, y a menudo promovía el tomarse una copita de “tequileño” para tener buena salud. Su facilidad para hacer amigos hacía que las personas a su alrededor se sintieran bienvenidos y queridos. Alfredo disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia a quien visitaba con frecuencia para crear experiencias que luego se convertirían en memorias imborrables. Desde muy pequeño trabajo para sacar una familia adelante ( Mamá y hermanos). Formó su propia familia con mucho amor, y nunca dejó de apoyar su familia, y la de su esposa, quienes lo aprendieron a querer como un hermano mas.
Le sobreviven su amada esposa Graciela Mejía, sus hijos: Lisbeth (Vicente), Eric (Elizabeth), Jhoel (Cristina), Yarazeth (Ruben), Farid (Mariela), 13 nietos y 3 bisnietos.
Servicios funerales para Alfredo se llevarán a cabo el miércoles 14 de junio en la Funeraria La Eternidad (1001 E 11th Avenue Suite A Salt Lake City UT 84103) de 6:00 PM a 9:00 PM. Se llevará a cabo un rosario a las 7:30 PM.
La misa de cuerpo presente será en la Iglesia San José el obrero el día Jueves 15 de junio a las 7:00 PM (7405 S. Redwood Rd in West Jordan)
Alfredo te extrañaremos por siempre y tu recuerdo y legado será inolvidable para nosotros. Que tu recuerdo viva por siempre en nuestras mentes y corazones…descansa en paz.

Alfredo González Hernández, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 13th, 2023 in Murray. He was born on May 10th, 1941 in San Ignacio Cerro Gordo Jalisco Mexico. He was surrounded by his loving family in his final moments.
Alfredo loved what he did as a merchant and was known for his hard work and dedication. Even though he didn't go to school for long, he was a very intelligent person who always found a way to succeed. His strong work ethic and commitment to others' well-being earned him a special place in the hearts of those who knew him.
Alfredo also had many interests outside of work. He always loved to enjoy a warm cup of coffee every morning and often promoted taking a shot of "tequileño" to promote good health. His friendly demeanor made everyone around him feel welcomed and loved. His smile could light up any room he walked into.
Alfredo cherished spending time with his family and often visited them to create memories together. He is survived by his dearly beloved wife Graciela Mejia, their cherished children: Lisbeth (Vicente), Eric (Elizabeth), Jhoel (Cristina), Yarazeth (Ruben), Farid (Mariela), 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandkids.
Services for Alfredo will be held on June 14th at Eternity Funeral Home in Salt Lake City. The Viewing will begin at 6:00 PM followed by a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. On June 15th, a Mass will be held at Iglesia San Jose el Obrero in West Jordan beginning at 7:00 PM.
Alfredo will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kind nature and joyous spirit remain an inspiration to those whose lives he touched. May his memory live on in our hearts and minds, and may he rest in eternal peace.
