Alice G. Bender 92, of Carlisle, PA., was called to heaven on January 7, 2026 at Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehab in Millersburg, PA.
She was born in Tower City, PA., on Sunday May 21, 1933 to the late Edward C. and Hilda L. (Burnd) McNoldy.
In her youth, Alice was a seamstress and owned and operated a grocery store. She filled her days with family, cooking, reading, painting and coloring. Above all, she was devoted and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished her family. She loved the lord and was a shining example of His love to all those who knew her.
She is survived by her three sons: Charles, Bryon and David. She also had six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and was preceded in death by her husband Marvin C. Bender.
Alice’s warmth and kindness will be dearly missed as she takes her place among the choir of angels.
