,- Of Chattanooga, Tennessee transitioned peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Mrs. Bonner was born March 28, 1943 to the late Robert Lee Harris and Georgia Mae Stamper Harris. Those who preceded her are her husband, Willie James Bonner, Sr., son, Dyrail Bonner, sister, Josie Harris, Bessie Mae Montgomery, brothers, Robert Harris, Edward Harris, Ozzie Harris, Howard Harris, Ross Harris, and grandson, Landon Jerrell Toney. She was a member of Greater Park City Baptist Church.
Survivors are her loving two daughters, Donna S. (James) Burress, Debbra M. Christopher; two sons, Marvin L. (Laurie) Harris, Willie Michael (Tonya) Bonner; eleven grandchildren, Earl, Alisa, Sasha, Tee, Lameteriues, Josh, Todayja, Alonzo, Tavonna, Tommy, Edward, seven great grandchildren; sister, Lois Harris; special godson, Michael Buchanan; special daughter-in-law, Monica Springs; nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 1:00 P. M. at New Salem Baptist Church, 756 Dewberry Road, Rossville, Georgia 30741 with Pastor Stephen Gilchrist as Eulogist and Pastor Andre Sharpe. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Ringgold Community Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
