Alice L. Browning, born on October 11, 1963, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 11, 2025. She will be lovingly remembered for her vibrant personality and her unwavering commitment to her family.
Alice was known as a prankster, always ready with a joke or a good laugh. She had a straight-forward way of sharing her thoughts, while also being loving, caring, and generous. Her spirit shone brightly when family gathered, especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas, when she cherished bringing everyone together.
She was a woman of many interests; shopping was one of her passions. Alice found joy in spoiling herself and those around her, showing her love through thoughtful gifts and kindness. Her proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly her family, which meant everything to her.
Alice leaves behind her beloved children, Donald Wayne Griffin III, Scott (Billie Jo) Cline III, and Amanda (Richard) Browning. She was a devoted grandmother to Haylee, Laci, and Donald, who brought immense joy to her life. Her siblings, Tonya (Roland) Hess and Bobby Woods, also carry her memory in their hearts, along with several nieces and nephews. Additionally, she is survived by her father, Kenny Ware.
Alice is reunited in spirit with her husband, Jeffrey Browning, her mother, Ruth Ann Ware, and her niece, Megan White. She is also joined by her sisters, Dora, Peggy, Marilyn, Tina, and Tammy, who welcome her with open arms.
As we remember Alice we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
