Alice lost her battle with cancer, passing away peacefully at home on July 5th in Kingman, AZ with her devoted niece, Lauri by her side.
Alice was the only daughter of Leonard and Lucille Griffin (Manning).
Alice was born in Los Angeles, CA. She retired from the aerospace industry as a Network Administrator.
Alice married William (Bill) Darling 5/28/1988 in Las Vegas, NV. They remained loving partners until Bill's passing in 2022.
Alice was extremely intelligent; she could resolve any technical issue as well as being very handy around the house. She had tremendous vocabulary which she coupled with a great sense of humor. Alice was an excellent seamstress and fantastic artisan. Alice enjoyed target shooting and spent many hours reloading ammunition with her beloved husband Bill. She often helped others in many ways, giving freely of her time and expertise.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years (Bill), brothers Thomas, George and Wayne, daughter Julie Norcross, grandnephew Michael, father Leonard and mother Lucille Griffin.
She is survived by her stepson, John Darling (Angela) and granddaughter, Whitney (San Diego, CA), grandson Adam Norcross (Palmdale, CA), nieces Lauri Griffin, Wendy Griffin, Crystal Ruiz, Melissa Perdew, Lisa Griffin, Cindy Griffin, great-niece Taylor, great-nephews Thomas, Timothy and Steven, great-great-niece Emersyn, and great-great-nephew Maverick.
Alice was a wonderful friend to many, and she will be greatly missed by friends and family alike.
The family would like to thank Melissa and Audra (Beacon of Hope Hospice) for their outstanding care and compassion. The family would also like to thank Alice's dear friend and neighbor – Janet Schank for her companionship, help and support to Alice over many years.
Arrangements were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery, Kingman, AZ.
