Kevin Wayne Garner was born October 28, 1962 in Flint (Genesse County) Michigan. He was the third of six children born to Jack L. and Karen Garner. Kevin spent his childhood playing sports (track and tennis), participating in Boy Scouts, excelling in school, and teaching himself piano. He was a 1980 graduate of Waterford Township High School before attending Brigham Young University for his undergraduate studies. He served a full-time LDS mission in San Jose, California, then returned to BYU to continue his education.

Kevin went on to pursue a professional degree in dental medicine, graduating from Southern Illinois University while raising a young family. Kevin and his family settled in Sheridan, Wyoming, where he established his dental practice. He continued pursuing advanced training in his profession throughout his 25 year career. Kevin was known and respected throughout his community for his kindness, compassion, and generosity with his time and skills.

Kevin is survived by his eternal sweetheart, Kathy Dieckmann Garner, his daughters Kelly and Kaitlin (Gabe), sons Spencer (Sarina) and Harrison, and stepsons Warren, Nicholas (Samantha), and Brandon (Harley). He is also survived by his loving mother (Ron), five siblings (Jackie, JoEllen, Anjanette, Julie, and Jonathan) and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held in Lake Havasu City on Sunday, October 5.

Flowers may be delivered to Bradbury Memorial Center on Friday, October 3.

In lieu of flowers, consider donating in Kevin's memory to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation at https://give.themmrf.org/ or the Dental Lifeline Network, which provides dental care to vulnerable adults across the US through the generosity of a network of volunteer dentists, at https://dentallifeline.org/give/
