Edward Bills Obituary

Edward E. Bills, Hermosa Beach, CA, (formerly Pittsburgh) Edward passed away peacefully Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, in Torrance Memorial Hospital, CA, from complications of lung cancer treatment. He was the son of William T. and Josephine E. Bills on June 20, 1953. He was a graduate of Gateway School District, Monroeville, in 1971 and Southern Illinois University in the College of Arts and Media. He was employed as the Director of Visual Communications with Rockwell International Headquarters in Pittsburgh and then California. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Suzie Bills, and niece, Robin Bills. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Thomas Bills (Karen), Kenneth Bills (Beverly), Carol Petrillo (Thomas), Jeffery Bills (Brenda), Robert Bills (Debra), Gerald (the late Suzie), and Cynthia Hegedus (James). Also surviving are nieces and nephews. His final wishes were to donate his body to science, and his corneas were donated to waiting candidates. His body was gifted to Research For Life with cremation to follow. His cremains will be spread over the Pacific Ocean. Charitable donations may go to [email protected].
