Clay Garner Obituary

Clay worked as an adjuster in the insurance industry and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing darts and had a lifelong love of tennis that started at the age of 12 with instruction from his brother-in-law, Shane. A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, he was a proud member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, a devoted fan of the University of Tennessee Volunteers and he loved his Harley motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell Edward Garner and Stella Inez Loyd Garner Thomas, as well as his nephew, Seth Campbell.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tiffany (Chris) Gann; sister, Nancy (Shane) Campbell; grandsons, Devan and Kade; nieces, Jennifer Georgescu and Allison Campbell; grandnephews, Ames and Corwin; along with several extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
