Alice JoAnn Richardson Davidson, daughter of Fred and Mattie Richardson, finished her work on Earth and joined her heavenly father on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born January 29, 1938 in New Mexico, and spent the first years of her life traveling with her family, including her 3 brothers and her sister, from Oklahoma to the Pacific Northwest, following the harvests. Her family eventually landed in St. Paul, Oregon, where JoAnn graduated from High School. After her graduation, she married the love of her life, Raymond Davidson, and they set up a farm in St. Paul, RD Farms, on which they raised their 4 children.

JoAnn was the support and love that kept everyone in her family going. She was always there, whenever she was needed. She taught religion class to school children at the Knights of Columbus Hall in St. Paul. She was a member of the Altar Society for St. Paul Catholic Church. She was also a first aid instructor. She fed countless people each summer who worked for the farm. She loved crossword puzzles, laughter, fun, and travel. But most of all, she loved her family and friends.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray, brothers Fred, Frank, and Willie, sister Johnny Ruth, and daughter-in-law Barbara. She is survived by her children, Sharon Davidson, Richard (Shirley) Davidson, Carol (Martin) Smith, Steven (Nancy) Davidson, and an addition to the family, Matthew Eide, as well as 9 grandchildren and their spouses, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Rosary and funeral mass will be held October 16, 2025 at 10:30am at St. Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul, Oregon. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul Catholic Church, the Alzheimer's Association, or Project Healing Waters.
