Alice Jacqueline "Jackie" (Slayton) Debord, age 65, of New Vienna, passed away September 13, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. She was born January 2, 1960 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Clyde Edwin "Jack" and Doris Opal (McDonald) Slayton and was a 1978 graduate of Wilmington High School. Jackie was always a kid at heart. She was a huge Cincinnati Reds fan and still loved watching Scooby-Doo and other cartoons. Having no children of her own she became "Aunt Jackie" to not only her family, but her friends as well. Known for having a big heart, Jackie loved and tried to take care of everyone. She loved her family very much and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Jackie is survived by her sister, Tami Slayton of Wilmington; several nieces and nephews; and her dear friends, Tiffany Burchett, and King Owens who became like family. In addition to her parents, Jackie is preceded in death by her husband, Phil Debord; three sisters and their spouses, Shirley Ann Slayton Tupy (Richard), Florence Marie Slayton Fox (Jim) and Jeannie Slayton Dabe (Timothy); and her nephew, Brandon Floyd Newman. A family gathering will take place at a later date to celebrate her life.
