Alice J. Ditchcreek

Alice J. Kelsey Ditchcreek, 90 of Valparaiso, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025. She was born April 20, 1935 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Floyd and Greta (Polk) Mills. Alice was a homemaker and liked gardening, sewing and canning foods from her garden. Surviving are her son David Kelsey, daughter Carol Ann (Eddie) Wiliams, two stepchildren Leo E. (Melody) Ditchcreek, and Darlene (Steve) Dapkus, and 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Brooks Kelsey, her second husband Leo Ditchcreek, daughters Pamela Hellums, stepdaughter Carolyn Neal, stepson Thomas Ditchcreek, her parents, daughter-in-law Carolyn Kelsey and sisters Joan Nowland, Nancy Schlote and brother James Warford. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025 10 am to 1 pm at Bartholomew Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm at Bartholomew Funeral Home.
