Alice Domange Donaldson, 94, of Houma, LA, entered into her eternal rest on December 18, 2025. Alice was born on May 11, 1931 to parents Sidney and Helen Domangue in Houma, LA.
Family and friends are invited attend the visitation on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. till time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery #2.
To cherish Alice's memories are her children, Hope D. Brunet and husband, Ralph; Susan D. LeDoux; Larry J. Donaldson, Jr.; and Cindy D. Butler and husband, Timothy; grandchildren, Jason and Chad Brunet, Greg Landry, Brian LeDoux, Larry Donaldson III, Joseph "Joey" Butler; great grandchildren, Dylan and Gabe Brunet, Morgan, Parker and Grant Landry, Marleigh LeDoux, and Emma Grace Donaldson; great-great granddaughter, Olivia LeBlanc.
Alice is reunited in Heaven with her loving husband 73 years, Larry James Donaldson, her parents, Sidney and Helen Domangue, sisters; Helen Parish, Evelyn Henry, Jeanette Domangue, her brothers; Sidney Domangue, Guyden Domangue and Donald Domangue; daughter-in-law, Dottie Donaldson.
Alice was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother who loved her family dearly. She had a passion for bowling where her and husband played for years together. Alice was a devoted Catholic and an active member of the St. Gregory Catholic Parish, where she contributed to the spiritual welfare of her community. She served as a Eucharistic Minister as well as a Lector and was involved with the Legion of Mary. Her dedication to serving those in need was evident in her work with St. Vincent de Paul. A beloved member of the choir she cherished her moments with her church and community.
The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to Haydel Memorial Hospice and Patty, RN and Bree.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s's Children's Hospital and Haydel Memorial Hospice in honor of Alice's life.
