Alice M. Dunham

Alice M. Dunham of Plymouth, MA died on March 2 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Plymouth at the age of 105. 

She was a resident of Plymouth Harborside Healthcare since 2015. Born in Rockland, MA, daughter of Charles A. and Alice D. Calderara of Abington, MA she graduated high school in 1938. Alice worked as Church Secretary at North Congregational Church, N. Abington and Executive Secretary at Porter Congregational Church, Brockton, MA. In 1968 she took a position as Purchasing Agent at Warren E. Collins Co., Braintree, MA, where she remained until retirement in 1985. She lived at South Meadow Village, Carver, MA, from 1978 to 2015. 

Alice enjoyed playing piano and singing in choirs in church and she was a member of the Fine Arts Chorale in Weymouth, MA traveling to Europe with the group in 1985. Her favorite activities were walking the beach collecting shells and frosted glass, going to concerts, and eating out. 

Alice is survived by her son Charles Dunham of Bridgewater, MA, four grandchildren, Karyl Raymondo of East Aurora, NY, Kathleen Ellis of New Hampton, NH, Kristine Dunham of Warwick, RI, and Charles R. Dunham of Bridgewater, MA, and two great-grandchildren. 

Family and friends are invited to attend Alice's visiting hours on Saturday, May 2nd from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. A 1:00 PM graveside service will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington.
