In Memory of Alice Gonzales (1943 - 2025) Alice Gonzales, born on February 20, 1943, in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, embodied the spirit of love and devotion throughout her life. She passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that will inspire her family and friends for generations to come. Alice was a cherished homemaker who dedicated herself to nurturing her loved ones. Her husband, Richard A. Gonzales, who has since passed, was her partner in a beautiful journey that celebrated both the joys and challenges of family life. Together, they built a warm and loving household for their children-Christina Gandara, Richard R. Gonzales, and Roxanne Munoz-who hold her memory close to their hearts. With kindness and generosity in her soul, Alice created a welcoming environment filled with laughter, music, and love. Music was a cornerstone of her life; raised in a family of musicians, her father was a skilled drummer, which ignited her passion for all genres of music. She found joy in singing and sharing melodies with family and friends, making every gathering an unforgettable experience filled with harmony and laughter. Alice is also remembered fondly by her grandchildren-Tyana Gandara, Richard Gonzales III, Hannah Gonzales, Ronnie Munoz, Ryan Munoz, and Julianna Munoz-and her great-grandchildren, Andrew Gandara and Raiden Gandara. Her impact extended through her loving daughters-in-law, Joelle Gonzales, and sons-in-law, Ron Munoz, and the late Guy Gandara. Alice's siblings, Eva Jean Dominguez, Mary Ellen Rivera, and her late brother Raul Ybave, along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends, will carry her spirit and values in their hearts. The memorial ceremony to celebrate Alice's life will be held on August 29, 2025, at 11 AM at Cabot and Sons Mortuary, located at 27 Chestnut St, Pasadena, CA. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery in Alta Dena, CA. Family and friends wishing to express their condolences may send flowers to Cabot and Sons.
