Mary's Obituary

Mary Louise Moore, 89, of Wichita Falls, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Petrolia Cemetery in Petrolia, Texas with Rev. Duane Perkinson, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.

Mary was born on December 17, 1933 in Vernon, Texas to the late B.B. “Boss” Black and Ida Mae (Stubblefield) Black.  She was a longtime faithful member of Loving Baptist Church.  Mary enjoyed traveling and loved going on cruises.  Her passion in life was her family and being with her grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Seaberry Moore, Jr; and her grandson, Justin Vickers.

She is survived by her two daughters, Janice Vickers and husband Joe, and Teresa Hunter and husband Randy; her brother, David McKinnon; her grandchildren, Joe Vickers Jr. and wife Carrie, Trevor Hunter and partner Chiara Gibson, and Tres Hunter and fiancé Sabatina Mauro; her great-grandchildren, Aiden Vickers, Scarlett Vickers, Rob Vickers, and Rachel Vickers; her great-great grandson, Orion Hunter; sister-in-law, Carolyn Harrison and husband LC; her brother-in-law, Perry Moore and wife Marianne; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family would like to give special thanks to Senior Care Health & Rehab for all their love, care, and attentiveness to Mary.
