Alice Lee Adams Cerino (nee Hazen), 80, passed peacefully on Nov 2, 2025 at Locust Lodge in Pasadena, MD. Cause of death was metastatic cancer. She was born Dec 13, 1944 in Baltimore to

Alice Fitzhugh (West) Hazen and John Frederick Hazen. Ms Cerino graduated salutatorian from Poolesville High School in 1962 and immediately moved to the Annapolis area to begin a long career as a medical secretary and surgical practice office manager. She married Dale Charles Adams in 1969 and adopted his son before two additional sons were born. After raising their two boys, they divorced in 1997. In 1999 Lee married thoracic and vascular surgeon Michele T. Cerino of Piza, Italy. They lived in Pasadena, MD. Dr. Cerino passed in

2016.

Lee is survived by her sons Dale C. Adams, Jr (Aymen) of Maricopa AZ and Scott S. Adams of Reisterstown MD, her twin Anne Laney (Jim), brother Robert Hazen (Barbara), sister Judy Connery (Bruce), one niece, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her youngest son, Jason Lee Adams in 2010, her stepdaughter, Lindsey Cerino in 2016, both husbands and her parents.

Lee loved her family, her pets, serving patients at her workplaces, and reading. She was a big fan of country music and NASCAR racing.

In accordance with Lee's wishes, there will be no memorial service. Cremation is being handled by Barranco Funeral Home and her ashes will be laid to rest in the West family cemetery overlooking the Magothy River in Severna Park, MD. Family and friends may make a donation in her name to an animal rescue service of their choice.
