Alice Loiselle, Sevigny, McCarthy (née Beaudry), 84, passed away suddenly on January 11, 2026, in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Born on January 21, 1941, in Lowell, Massachusetts to William and Aline Beaudry (Gagnon), Alice grew up surrounded by the warmth and traditions that would shape her lifelong love for family and community.
Alice was the proud mother of six children. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Therese Potvin of Goffstown, NH; and her sons Brian Loiselle of Candia, NH; Jeffrey Loiselle of Manchester, NH; Donald Loiselle of Allenstown, NH; and Robert Loiselle Jr. of Epsom, NH. Her son Gary Loiselle preceded her in death. Alice was also the very proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren, great grandmother to 12.
She was also predeceased by her siblings Rudolph Beaudry, Donald Beaudry, Robert Beaudry, and Pauline Marchand. Their memories live on through the stories shared by those who knew them.
Alice had a gift for bringing people together. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and found joy in preparing meals that brought comfort to those around her. A consummate cook, she took pride in nourishing both body and spirit through her kitchen. In earlier years, Alice could often be found knitting or working on crafts—quiet pastimes that reflected her patience and creativity.
Later in life, Alice found companionship and support among the residents and caregivers at the Laurette Sweeney Apartments. The friendships she formed there were a source of great comfort and joy. Her family extends heartfelt thanks to these dear friends for their kindness and care—they truly looked out for one another in meaningful ways that will not be forgotten.
May Alice’s memories bring peace to those who knew and loved her.
