Alice L. Oller

Alice L. Oller died April 28, 2011 at the age of 95. She worked for Universal Cooler in Detroit as a bookkeeper where she met her husband. She was also a bookkeeper with National Bank of Detroit. Alice was a founding parishoner of St. Suzanne's Detroit and the Altar Society. She volunteered at funeral lunches at the Shrine and loved cards - especially poker - horse races, and listening to books on tape. Beloved wife of the late Audrey. Loving mother of Karen Ziembo (Joseph), Marjorie Chouinard (Jon), William (Nancy) and Mark (Therese). Cherished grandmother of Joseph, Mary Alice, Jon, Elaine, William, Jeff, John, James, Jill, Jennifer, Matthew and Elizabeth. Great-grandmother of 10. Sister of Alex William Kramer, and the late Marguerite, Robert and Arline. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-8 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road (between Maple & Big Beaver) with Rosary and Eulogy service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass Monday 10 a.m. at National Shrine of the Little Flower (12 Mile & Woodward). Visitation at church begins at 9:30 a.m. Memorial tributes to Salvation Army.
