She studied art at the Art Academy of Cincinnati where she specialized in watercolor. She was very creative and enjoyed making jewelry, afghans, and a variety of crafts. Besides her love for art, she enjoyed fishing, camping, travelling, and going to shows in Las Vegas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Elsie Ward, and her brother Arthur Ward, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Cooper and Gail Sievering, grandchildren Earl Bryant, Heather Luther, Ray Sievering, Crystal Reeves, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and her caregiver Leticia Alvarez.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The Salvation Army, 908 Yuma St, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
