Walter Truehart Obituary
He is survived by his sisters, Geneva L. Butler, Francine Truehart, Sharon (David) Caison and Rosemary (Lee) Thompson; brothers, Marion (Dawanna) Truehart and Johnny (Jackie) Jones.
Walter should be remembered for his obedience in doing God's will. Serving as an elder at Fresh Wind Church. His sacrificial willingness to support and deeply care for others.
In his younger years, our beloved brother proudly served three years in the United States Army. Most of his younger years consisted of being an avid member of his community. This is where he was always working and helping where he could.
He later moved to Colorado and changed his life for the better. Giving his life to God he became even more of an influential voice, speaking life into others. Our Brother inspired others through his passionate, caring and loving personality. He always knew how to uplift those around him with his humorous and affectionate spirit. He was always pouring wisdom into our children as well as the children in the community.
When our Heavenly Father took him home, he was surrounded by family, friends and loved ones.

My Friend and Brother in Christ! We ran for a brief moment his Thursday support group, the focus was overcoming tough life events. I am a licensed mental health\addiction therapist in the group He was the mentor life coach leaning on his personal life experiences; While I had my own life experiences, along with my academic and work experiences. My heart was filled by his kind words, and wisdom he shared with me during our times in the group, and during church services. I follow as a younger version of him in doing the act of God´s will, loving others as if they are special; Because they were special! I hope that as he waits for us in the sky; That we remember his greatest gift was his ability to Love Others! Rest In Peace" Brother Walter."
