Dranoel Davis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors & Crematory on Mar. 6, 2026.
Dranoel Gason Davis, 66 years old, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on March 2, 2026.

Dranoel proudly served his country as a retired Army veteran. During his military service, he traveled to many countries and developed a love for culture and learning, becoming fluent in three languages. He was recognized for his dedication and skill, earning awards in sharpshooting and missile accuracy. His commitment, discipline, and service to his country were a source of pride for both him and his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Davis, and his mother, Morelos Rosalia Smith.

He leaves behind his children: Jane'e, Jasmin, Jenell, Lashieka, Dranoel Jr., and Lamar; as well as four cherished grandchildren. He also leaves behind friends and loved ones who will cherish his memory and carry forward the lessons and love he shared during his life.

Dranoel was known for having a heart of gold and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved making people laugh and bringing smiles to those around him. His favorite saying, often shared with a smile, was,

"I know, I know, I'm working on it."

Dranoel loved working with his hands and had a remarkable talent for building beautiful landscaping environments. He was a hard worker until the very end of his life, taking pride in everything he created. Above all, he loved God, his mother, and his children, and his faith and family were the guiding forces in his life.

Those who knew him will remember his kindness, his wisdom, and the warmth he shared with others. Dranoel's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His life will be remembered with love, respect, and wild Side.

His favorite scripture was Psalm 23:1–5:

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over."
