Beverly Jean Walker Davis, 86, peacefully passed away on February 6, 2026, in
Ogden, Utah.
She was born on October 28, 1939, in
Ogden, Utah, to George Rulon Walker and Edna Lorraine Young Walker. Beverly built her life on faith, family, hard work, and service. In 1997, she married the love of her life, Colonel Robert Walter Davis. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Utah Temple, a sacred milestone that reflected the deep spiritual foundation of their union.
Beverly graduated from Hollywood Beauty School and went on to share her talents by teaching at Weber State College. With determination and entrepreneurial spirit, she opened her own successful beauty salon. Through her work, she not only enhanced the lives of her clients but also formed cherished lifelong friendships. Her salon became a place of connection, laughter, and community.
Service to others was a defining part of Beverly's life. She dedicated many years to volunteering within her community and was an active leader in civic involvement. She served as the president of the Utah Federation of Republican Women. Later, she represented Utah and was elected to serve a two-year term as the president of National Federation of Republican Women in Washington, D.C. She approached these roles with integrity, commitment, and a sincere desire to make a positive difference.
Beverly had a generous and creative heart. She lovingly knitted countless blankets, each stitch a quiet expression of care. These handmade gifts became treasured keepsakes for family and friends-warm reminders of her constant love and thoughtfulness.
Those who knew Beverly will remember her as remarkably strong, deeply caring, selfless, and unwavering in her devotion to those she loved. Her kindness, resilience, and grace leave a lasting legacy in the lives she touched.
At the time of her passing, Beverly was survived by four children, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and her brother. Her greatest joy was her family, and her legacy lives on through each of them.
