Alice Sheets Obituary
She was a daughter of the late Alfred and Louise (White) Fortunato.
Alice was also preceded in death by son, Michael Sheets.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Phillip Sheets; daughter, Sharon (Mark) Stuart; grandchildren, Evan (Alicia) Sheets, Ashley Walther, Alexander (Larry) Lang, Anthony Lubinski and Jacob Sheets; and great-grandchildren, Aden and Liam Walther and L J Lang and Easton Sheets.
Alice was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and was active in Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed bible study and sang in the choir. Alice was a member of the Red Hats, Newcomers of Somerset, T.O.P.S., Track II Squares and Wheelers and Dealers Square Dancing Club. She enjoyed dancing any chance she got. Alice traveled three times to the National Square Dancing Convention. Alice volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Alice also enjoyed traveling with her husband.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home & Crematory of Somerset. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with Father Angelo Patti officiating. Interment will be held at Somerset County Memorial Park.

Very sorry to read this. Alice was a very dear close friend of mine in the late 70's and early 80's. It was during a very dark period in my life and Alice was ALWAYS there for me. She was such a kind and loving person. I think of her and Phil often. We lost contact when she moved away. I was also sorry to read about Mike. I didn't know he passed. My ( and Tom's) sincerest condolences to Phil, Sharon and family. rest in peace dear friend xo

What a beautiful, fun lady! She was a very valued member of our Catholic Daughter´s court at St. Peter´s Church. No matter what endeavor we undertook, you could count on Alice to run full speed ahead. We are really going to miss her so very much. Rest in peace, dear friend.
