Mark Allen Sheets, born on April 16, 1960, in Newport News, Virginia, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, in Gloucester, Virginia, at the age of 65.

Mark was a dedicated and hardworking individual who spent his career as a truck driver, navigating the roads with skill and commitment. Beyond his professional life, he found joy in the great outdoors, where he loved to fish and hunt, embracing the tranquility and challenge that nature offered.

A proud graduate of Rich Valley High School, Mark went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army, exemplifying the values of duty and service throughout his life.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Jack L. Sheets; his mother, Mary Sheets Sutphin; and his brother-in-law, Jeffrey L. Doyle. He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: his brothers, Jeffrey L. Sheets and Aaron L. Sheets; his sister, Diane Sheets Doyle; his sister-in-law, Jessica Sheets; his beloved son, Marcus Sheets; and his grandsons, Jackson Sheets and Eli Sheets. He is also survived by his nieces, Cayla Sheets, Erica Davidson, Taylor Davidson, and Falyn Doyle; his nephew, Jared Sheets; and special friends, Ricky and Brittany Millen.

Mark's legacy of love, strength, and resilience will continue to inspire those who knew him. Though there will be no formal services held, his family and friends will forever hold him close in their hearts, honoring his memory in their own personal ways.
