Died: July 2, 2025 in Princeton, IL
Alice Joan Starker, 91, of Princeton formerly of DePue, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Alice was born on May 21, 1934 at home in DePue the daughter of Edward and Mary (Shuttes) Lindquist. She was a DePue High School graduate. Alice married Lewis Starker on September 29, 1956 in the First Congregational Church of DePue. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2022. She worked in different factories throughout her career retiring in 1995 with Harper- Wyman. Alice enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Alice is survived by her three children, Kay Lynn (Jeffery) Jilderda of Ohio, Mary Pearl (Robert) Connor of Sheffield and Neal Starker of Princeton; 8 grandchildren, Nicole Chasteen, Tiffany (Cody) Jilderda, Cody Starker, Samantha Bjurstrom, Stephen Brown, Roman Connor, Hope (Ryan) Simmons and Gavin Connor and four great-grandchildren, Terry Farran, Jammie Jilderda, Rhonan Simmons and Echo Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Warren Lewis Starker and Phillip Seal Starker and two siblings, Alta Mey Pollite and Donald Lindquist.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
