Alice Louise "King" Thompson

Alice L. Thompson, 79, of Breezewood, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
She was born in Sugar Grove, PA, on October 25, 1946, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Cula (Roher) King.
On April 8, 1965, in Waterfall, PA., she married Paul Thompson.
Alice is survived by her husband; a daughter, Christine Bozzer and husband Kevin; a son, Paul Thompson Jr. and wife Becky; a brother, George King and wife Marian; three sisters, Beulah Jane Quick, Zola Thompson and husband George, and Esther Magee and friend Curtis; four grandchildren, Jessica Stone and husband Thomas, Jared Donelson, Jack Anspach, and Abby Pepper; three great-grandchildren, Pierce and Mack Stone, and Grayson Pepper; and two sisters-in-law, Reba King and Barbara King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by four brothers, James, Robert, Gerald, and Donald King; and a sister, Martha Neuder.
After high school, Alice's life was defined by hard work, quiet strength, and a deep love for the people around her. She began her working years at the Everett Sewing Factory, where she built lasting friendships and a reputation for dedication and care in everything she did. Later, she became a familiar and friendly face at the Family House Restaurant in Breezewood.
Alice eventually retired as the manager of the Exxon gas station, a role in which she took great pride. Her coworkers and customers alike knew her as dependable, steady, and always ready with a smile or a helping hand.
More than anything, Alice cherished the time she spent with her family. Whether gathered around a table, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other's company, those moments were the heart of her life. She found joy in the everyday-working. laughing, and being present with the people she loved most.
Alice leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and quiet generosity. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 4:00 pm in the Chapel at Donelson Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Hott officiating.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 2:00pm until the hour of service at Donelson Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Mt. Chapel Church Cemetery, Breezewood, PA.
