Pawtucket - Alice Marie (Fortin) Thurber, 100, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late William Thurber. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Simeon and Aglaee (Deshaies) Fortin.
Alice was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who spent many years working in the clothing industry and providing a loving home for her family.
She leaves behind her beloved children, Linda Wirt (late Charles) of Pawtucket, William Thurber of Cumberland, and Gary Thurber (Susan) of Seekonk, MA, many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Gail Cabral.
