Alice "Dorothy" Trader

Alice Dorothy Trader, was born on May 3, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan to Paul and Simonne Devlin. Dorothy, who resided in Allen Park, Michigan, passed away on March 8, 2026 at the age of 92. Dorothy is the beloved wife of the late Robert Trader. Loving mother of Beverly Rekuc, James Gerlach, the late Robert (Ann) Gerlach, and Carol (Michael) Peterson. Dear sister of the late Jean (Maurice) Vermeulen. Dearest grandmother of Christopher (Amanda), Matthew (Lisa), Michael (Lauren), Nathan (Katie), Adam (Anna), the late Phillip. Samantha, Jeff, Jason, and Caitlin. Loving great-grandmother of Trevor, Ava, Ava, Hailey, Landon, Jackson, Jayden, Francis, Kennedy, Carmella, Cecelia, Noah, Jaxon, Vincenzo, Luke with 2 on the way. She is also survived by many other loving family and friends. Dorothy's greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed the company of her 4 legged companions.

Visitation Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 3:00- 8:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 5900 Allen Rd. (313) 928-2300. In state Thursday 9:30 a.m. with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection to follow at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 9000 Laurence, Allen Park. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
